French Garden

The French Garden is one of the oldest Gardens in Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. Where the French Gardens stand now stood Nong Nooch’s sunflower fields two decades ago. Mr. Kampon, the owner of Nong Nooch, decided to build the new garden in the likes of the Gardens he’d seen at the Versailles Palace in France. He started building the French garden and finished it in approximately two years. But in 1998, the French garden became accessible to the general public. Following that, he added many architectural accents, including a pagoda, decorative plants, several trees, and an English red telephone. The area of the French garden I is expanded by the French garden II. The French Garden II also included several boulders to stop a valley from collapsing and used particular trees to adorn them in geometric forms.
